| The
essence of Dr. LiCavoli's work is to help clients clear anything
that may be blocking them from being fully alive and awake
emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Traditional psychodynamic
talk therapy is woven with experiential therapies such as
EMDR, body-centered therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Psychotherapy combined with
spiritual grounding prepares clients to work through emotionally
charged material and clear the way for changing unwanted behaviors
and patterns.
Dr. LiCavoli graduated from
Northwestern University Medical Graduate School in 1993, interned
at the University of Chicago Hospital, trained at the Family
Institute, and completed teacher training in meditation. She
sees adolescents and adults facing food, body image issues,
life transitions, trauma, mood disregulation, anxiety, and
relationship difficulties.
Dr LiCavoli founded Clarus
Center because of her belief in the power of a collaborative,
diverse community of healing practitioners. The community
of professionals that comprise Clarus Center endeavor to support
the health, wellness and growth of their clients and of one
another. Dr. LiCavoli is a Blue Cross/Blue Shield preferred
provider. |
